Login Issues

Having trouble signing in to BetterHomework? Here are solutions to common login problems.

Forgot Password

1. Go to betterhomework.co/login
2. Click "Forgot password?"
3. Enter your email address
4. Check your inbox for a reset link
5. Create a new password

Note: Check your spam folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.

Invalid Email or Password

If you're getting an "invalid credentials" error:

• Double-check your email: Make sure there are no typos
• Check caps lock: Passwords are case-sensitive
• Try resetting your password: Use the forgot password flow

Account Not Found

If the system says your account doesn't exist:

• You may have signed up with a different email
• Try other email addresses you might have used
• Create a new account if needed

Extension Login Issues

If you can't log in through the extension:

1. Try the website first: Log in at betterhomework.co
2. Check the extension: It should automatically sync your login
3. Reload the extension: Go to chrome://extensions and click reload

Manual Sync

If the extension doesn't sync automatically:

1. Log out of the extension (if possible)
2. Close and reopen the extension
3. Sign in again

Session Expired

If you keep getting logged out:

• This is normal after extended periods of inactivity
• Simply sign in again
• Enable "Remember me" when logging in

Two Accounts Problem

If you accidentally created multiple accounts:

• Choose the account with your subscription
• Contact support to merge accounts if needed
