If BetterHomework is taking a long time to respond or not responding at all, here's what you can do.

Normal Response Times

• Fast Mode: Usually 3-10 seconds
• Expert Mode: May take 15-30 seconds for complex problems

Longer times may occur during peak usage hours.

Why Responses Might Be Slow

High Traffic Periods

During peak hours (evenings, weekends, exam periods), response times may increase. This is temporary.

Complex Problems

Some problems require more processing:

• Multi-step math problems
• Long text passages
• Complex diagrams or images

Poor Image Quality

If you captured a screenshot:

• Blurry images take longer to process
• Low contrast text may cause issues
• Try recapturing with better quality

Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1: Check Your Internet

• Make sure you have a stable connection
• Try loading other websites
• Restart your router if needed

Step 2: Refresh and Retry

1. Close the extension panel
2. Wait a few seconds
3. Reopen and try again

Step 3: Try a Different Input Method

If screen capture isn't working:

• Try the text selection feature instead
• Or type your question directly

Step 4: Clear Browser Cache

1. Go to Chrome Settings > Privacy and Security
2. Click "Clear browsing data"
3. Select "Cached images and files"
4. Click "Clear data"
